A little about me:
Greetings, my name is Riad Sbai, and I am currently 20 years of age,
living in Phoenix, Arizona. I came out into this world on May 9th of
1989, born in Arizona, and well, here I am now! I am currently
attending Arizona
State University (ASU), which is
a pretty neat university. My major is currently Global Health,
and I intend on doing pre-med in my years of college, and then I'm off
to the Carrabian for Med-school. I'm also considering a minor in either
physics/psychology/botany/philosophy because I love all these subjects
with a passion. I am currently employed at Fry's Food and Drug Store
(Ray and Dobson to be exact, Store #51), as a meat cutter. I really
enjoy my job, especially because of all my great coworkers. I also design websites as well on the side, so if you need a website, I'm you're guy!
Life is
good I guess, for now at least!
Hobbets?! Huh?! Ohh, HOBBIES! Why, yes, I do have a wide variety of stuff I enjoy doing in my free time, thank you for asking! I enjoy trolling the world through the
internet, reading books, cooking, gardening, fishing, photography, and
watching educational television; my favourite shows would include
anything on the discovery channel (Survivorman,
Man Vs Wild,
Deadliest Catch, Myth Busters and many more), food channel (Alton Brown is the the best!), and travel channel (Traveling
with Sarah Brown, No
Reservations with Anthony Bourdain,
Bizarre Foods with Andrew
Zimmerman, just to name a few
of my favorites:) I also enjoy philosophising (Philosophy 101, a must
take class for anyone), and hanging out with some of my best friends
and brothers. I am passionate about every aspect of nature, from plants
to animals, I just love nature and the outdoors. I also enjoy gardening
with a passion, special thanks to Mr. Fieldman! Oh and Music! Oh and I
love music, my favourite bands include Coldplay, Muse, The Beatles,
Keane, Radiohead, Jack Johnson, The Dave Mathews Band, Nick Drake, Bob
Marley, The Polyphonic
Spree, Jimi Hendrix, System of a
Down, The Strokes, White Stripes, Ben Folds, oh and did I say
Coldplay?! They're probably my favorite band!
I have a lot of goals I'd like to tuck under my belt before I leave this place. For now I'd just like to continue my educational career and stride towards a medical degree here in the states. I'm not sure what kind of doctor I'd like to become, but I'm sure I'll be more than satisfied whatever gets thrown at me. Another important goal of mine is to get a Ph.D, in anything really interesting to me; such as
psychology, botany, anything really, I just love provocative knowledge. I
also want to go sky diving, for some weird reason I have to get that
done before I die. I'd also prefer to live someplace interesting, such
as Hawaii, Alaska, Switzerland, New Zealand, someplace away from too
many people. It is also an ultimate goal of mine to somehow have an
everlasting impact on Earth in a positive manner. And last but not
least, I want to fall in love with the perfect person, everybody does
right?
