The Disappearing Computer Prank

Hello again! This is a pretty neat computer prank that can be played on friends to freak them out. It's very simple, causes no harm to your computer, and easily fixed. What this simple prank basically does is wipe everything off of your computer screen, when I say everything, I mean everything! This includes all the icons, the taskbar, all programs that are running. Here is a screen shot of a before and after:

Instructions:

1.) Hit CTRL + ALT + DEL, which opens up the Task Manager.

2.) Click on the Processes Tab, and locate Explorer.exe (If you have trouble finding this, hit E on the keyboard a few times until you get to it.)

3.) Right click explorer.exe, and click on End Proccess, and then click Yes.

4.) Exit out of the Task Manager, and that's it! Notice anything! ;)

How to Fix it:

1.) Open up the task manager again, by hitting CTRL + ALT + DEL.

2.) Click on File > New Task (Run...), and type in Explorer.exe

3.) Hit OK, and everything should be back to normal.
