In this short and simple tutorial, I teach you how to browse the internet ad-free, with only 2 simple downloads. So let's start!
1.) If you do not have Firefox, you're going to need it, simply click this link and download it. I highly recommend this browser over the default Internet Explorer, it's faster, safer, and has tons of ad ons, and themes which help you customize your browser to the way you like.
2.) Ok, Next, click this link, and download the Adblock Plus extension. This is what's going to do all the dirty work, and block all these nasty and annoying ads. Click on "Install Now", and let the installation begin. It should ask you to restart your browser after the instillation is complete, let it do that.
3.) Now, when you restart the browser, and open it up, it's going to give you a window that asks you to subscribe to ad blocking lists, make sure USA is select "Next". These lists will automatically update to new ad services.
4.) Now your set! View some popular sites that are infested with ads, like myspace.com, imageshack.us, youtube.com, etc..
